Autie

I am a 21 year old fashion designer and student at the Art Institute of California. I am from Mount Shasta now residing in San Francisco California with my musically creative husband. I have been sewing ever since my talented mother taught me how; taking it on as my own. I love creating things, and fabric happens to be my medium. I have interned for a local menswear group called Distilled and for couture designer Colleen Quen and currently work down the street from RAG at Nomads.

My designs can seem random at times, some are actually homework assignments, where as some are simple quick things, and others just depend on what fabric I have! Almost all of the fabric I use is in a sense, "recycled" fabric that I buy from Scrap. That means that its the left overs of larger companies that would send it to the trash but gets picked up my me.
